Occupied Rochester home hit by gunfire

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – An occupied home in a Rochester neighborhood was hit by gunfire on Friday.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of 7th Ave NW around 10:00 p.m. and discovered that “several shots were fired “at the residence.”

Several casings were recovered from the scene, a few blocks north of Cooke Park.

Rochester Police Department spokeswoman Amanda Grayson said “Three people were inside the residence, but no one was injured.”

The search for suspects continued Saturday morning. Grayson says “No additional information is available at this time.”
