The Sea Ceptor is a new generation of airborne, all-weather air defense missile system developed and designed by MBDA. The weapon system has the ability to intercept and therefore neutralize the full range of current and future threats, including fighter jets and the new generation of supersonic anti-ship missiles. Capable of multiple fire channels, the system will also counter saturation attacks.

Sea Ceptor will operate from SYLVER and Mk41 launchers using a quad-pack configuration, various flexible canister configurations are also available. Soft Vertical Launch technology reduces the weight of the system and facilitates installation. The missile has a maximum firing range of 25 km.
