World of Warships: Legends returns with spoopy content for the October update.
It is the most wonderful time of year for the naval warfare MMO console game, World of Warships: Legends (WoW: Legends), and it’s not even Christmas yet!
Back with the game’s incredible Halloween-inspired content, WoW: Legends is back for its October Patch 3.7 update. The update brings a new Halloween campaign mode called the ‘Element of Choice’, which players can play to unlock two ships for the final reward. It’s true, not one, but two ships will be up for grabs! The ships are two Tier VII premium destroyers, the Pan-European, Friesland, and the first Pan-Asian ship, Loyang. Players know what that means, torpedo season is on the high seas this month.
One of the most interesting aspects of the Halloween update and campaign this year is how it’s split into two parts. The first part will be available from October 4-17. This is the ‘Saving Transylvania’ story that players remember from PC version and years before, which involves taking down Rasputin and his fearsome enemy ships while guiding the Transylvania ship through the portal.
The second part of the campaign is called “A Light in the Dark”, which will be available from October 18 to 31. This one’s mission involves Transylvania again, but the objective is to seal the portal this time around. To make matters even more difficult, players must resist Rasputin and his lackeys, including a villainous new ship, the Gorgon. The concept is to hold back all enemy forces passing through the portal and protect the magic towers so that the portal is closed forever.
Here is a list of the possible rewards that players can get during campaign events:
- British Battleship Bellerophon at Tier II
- Italian cruiser Genova at rank IV
- Halloween themed commanders
- Halloween-themed crates, camos, and more in-game aesthetics
The other coolest part of this WoWs: Legends update is that Soviet Cruisers will be available in Early Access. Each ship will have a special mission to accomplish in order to unlock each ship. Here is the list of Soviet cruisers that will be available for research in this update:
- Kotovsky at rank IV
- Gorky at rank V
- Tallinn at rank VI
- Tier VII Riga (coming in the next update)
